What Makes Us Special:
Sherman Library and Gardens, with its early California architectural style, lush green plantings, expansive flower beds and blue-tiled fountains rimmed with colorful flowers provides one of the most inviting venues for weddings and receptions along the coast of Southern California. Stepping inside the warm, moist Tropical Conservatory with orchids, heliconias and gingers in full bloom is like a visit to the Pacific Islands. The Rose Garden features an array of colorful and scented blooming plants, while the cool atmosphere of the Fern Grotto exhibits the bold greenery of several forty-year-old hanging staghorn ferns. In sharp contrast, but with subtle beauty of its own, the Cactus and Succulent Garden surrounds a large California pepper tree accented with festive twinkle lights and an antique church bell which is rung to announce each wedding. |
