She attributes both her French-American up-bringing and her many years living in France shooting film, fashion, music, magazine portraits, journalism and fine art, for giving her work a very stylized feel.
She does not consider herself a "wedding photographer" as one might think but rather a photographer with the heart of a fine artist whose romantic style naturally lends itself to weddings. In turn, she has become one of the most sought-out wedding photographers in California and abroad. The majority of her clients come from the creative arts fields, (directors, designers, artists, filmmakers, writers, etc, etc...) - those seeking something completely different.
Elizabeth continues shooting album covers, fashion and advertising to bring a fresh and new perspective to her wedding photography, in turn creating a unique Euro-American stamp that is hers alone.
In 1989 Elizabeth Etienne graduated with honors from the prestigious, acclaimed Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California - rated one of the top schools of photography in the world!

I am confident enough to say I guarantee you have never seen a wedding photographer whose work even resembles mine! This is not your standard wedding photography, that's for sure.
My fees are NOT limited to time restrictions. I am YOURS for the day! I show up when the bride wants me to begin taking pictures and I leave at the end of the wedding when all the possible pictures have been taken.
I do not book more than one wedding a weekend so my focus is on you and your wedding that entire week!!
Many of my packages contain VERY unique "engagement" photo sessions taken weeks or months before the actual wedding day. This enables us to create some VERY theme-oriented images. These do NOT have to be images of you two dressed in your wedding attire if you do not want - (think REAL creative here, maybe vintage Ralph Lauren in the 1920's, a playful day barefoot at the beach.. etc..etc...). I am loaded with all sorts of ideas and I have plenty of sample images to show you!
Many of my clients become some of my dearest friends. I have a very down-to-earth way of working and have been complimented on my abilities to LISTEN to the ideas and needs of my clients. I absolutely LOVE what I do (who wouldn't!) and my passion, drive and enthusiasm shines through!
